Twentyfirst
Century Solutions was established in the year 1998, for providing
GIS Solutions to different Govt. Departments. Numerous projects
from Geological Survey of India, Surface Water Investigation
Directorate -West Bengal, Kolkata Municipal Development Authority,
Dept. of Mines & Geology – Jharkhand etc. were undertaken
and completed successfully. As a part of the solution, many
customized software were developed. For example – Graphic
Litholog Plotting & Correlation Diagram for GSI, WellLog
with Tubewell Structure Plotting for SWID, etc. |

Year
2004 being the year of Scientific Awareness, Dept. of
Science & Technology – Govt. of India, planned
to develop a grass root level GIS Software with Bio-diversity
Register, to popularize GIS in all the villages of India.
Twentyfirst Century Solutions got the opportunity to
develop that “People’s GIS” software.
Then, Twentyfirst Century Solutions got encouragement
for developing easy and affordable educational GIS software
for Colleges and Universities. This “21stCenturyGIS”
Educational version is a friendly Remote Sensing and
GIS tool, launched in the year 2005 and underwent many
upgradations to accommodate additional features and
finally culminated to Advance Education version.
Meanwhile, the Professional version was launched to
cater total solutions for Remote Sensing, Terrain Analysis
and GIS for existing professional customers. |

in the name of “21stCenturyGIS Academy”,
functioning from different centers to develop Industry
ready GIS Professionals.
Covering Efficient Data collection, Structuring of Spatial
Data and Analysis, Interpretation of Imagery, Production
of Maps and Geo-Information.
